Vintage rugby ball 1924 – Limited Edition

Here is the ultimate vintage rugby ball with its beautiful limited edition marking: The superior match ball 1924 – J HOPPKINS and SONS London

Do you remember it? The old ball with this marking was in 6 panels (there are almost none left), the new one is available in 4 panels and its quantity is limited.

The leather rugby ball is still stamped 1924 with its unusual screen print.

You can customize your ball with your name or surname if you wish. The customization will be done on a back panel in addition to the screen printing already present on the leather rugby ball.

As always, we recommend the Bassy font if you are unsure of what to buy. This font stands out well when engraved on the leather, and there are some nice examples of photos with the name on the back panel of the rugby ball.

These rugby balls made from vintage leather were once used for playing, but nowadays they are mainly used for decoration. We continue to make them in our workshops, the method has not changed, they are still handmade from the cutting of the first piece of leather to the cognac patina finish that you love 😉

We remind you once again that the patina of this limited edition leather rugby ball can vary a little according to our series and this is why we propose many photos of our balls. However, our leather balls are not perfect. Some of them have small imperfections in the markings, which also guarantees the vintage aspect of the leather ball. If you don’t want this, we strongly advise you to choose our premium leather to avoid small unsightly scratches.
