We offer specific studies to meet particular needs identified by our customers. To do this, we define in a concerted way the objectives and the design of the study, and develop an ad hoc methodology to meet these objectives, while respecting available resources and possible time constraints.
This approach may concern specific themes – such as the study of social organisation, food habits, etc. – or broader fields such as anthropological studies or socio-cultural studies, among others.
In particular, we have built specific expertise on artisanal extractive activities and, more generally, on issues regarding the access to natural resources which, if not well controlled, can generate conflict situations in the territory. Our understanding of the associated issues – socio-economic, demographic, political and institutional – as well as local governance, allow us to formulate strategies for consultation and socially viable solutions, profitable for all, allowing a link between the artisanal sector and the industrial sector, or development programmes driven by international cooperation.
